Chocolate Baked Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 x cup rolled oats

  • 2 x tablespoon cacao powder

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 x cup oat milk (or other alternative plant-based)

  • 1 x tablespoon honey or maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 50g dark chocolate, chopped (optional)

  • Fresh berries or nuts for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine all of the ingredients together in a mixer or blender until you have a silky textured mixture.

  3. Prepare Ramekins: Poor the mixture evenly into ramekins.

  4. Bake: Place on the middle shelf in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is set and begins to crack slightly.

  5. Cool and Serve: Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Top with fresh berries or nuts, if desired.
